With great enthusiasm, Davy will take you through this series where he will build up and repeat the 6 basic movements in each lesson. This makes the course more accessible for both beginners and advanced students. Davy teaches you the different depths of the movements, as well as additional integration movements so that you as a human being can create more awareness in your psyche as well as experience its effect on your physical and all other aspects of life. This will create a natural, sustainable and fundamental change on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.
Exercise is essential if we don't want to depleat our bodies. Gentle forms of movement such as yoga and chi kung help the body to regain and maintain energy and thus help you to heal, physically, mentally and spiritually. And all this always from a deep respect and reverence for your body.
Merdian Chi Kung is a series of exercises that stimulates energy flow in the meridians. It is a series in which you, as a human being, rediscover your nature through the movements. Dirk Oellibrandt is the founder of this movement form. His teacher in this was the body itself.
The movements are linked to the 5 elements (metal, earth, fire, water and wood) and the meridian couples that are connected to them. It is about moving through the elements within yourself, becoming familiar with how the different elements show themselves in you and developing the potential that lies within. By being present in this form of movement with your awareness and intention, you create natural change on a physical, mental and spiritual level. Nature acts as a mirror here because everything does what it naturally already is.
The exercises are structured in such a way that they are accessible to everyone. They initiate an energy flow that opens the network of meridians and creates space from within. It is a playful and inviting form that gives joy.
By doing the exercises regularly, you will feel the external movements help you feel the internal movements of your body.
Merdian Chi Kung strengthens and expands your body as well as your life, because your outer world and inner world reflect each other. It helps to peel off thought patterns and beliefs and to let them merge layer by layer into energy and life force. Which makes you become what you naturally already are.
